The Idaho Hispanic Foundation is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mari Ramos as our new Chief Executive Director. Mari brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the Hispanic community in Idaho, and we are excited about the direction and growth she will bring to our foundation.

Mari will collaborate closely with an experienced board of directors led by Enrique Rivera, President of the Board, to guide the Idaho Hispanic Foundation towards a future brimming with promise and opportunity.

Our Mission and Vision Under Mari's Leadership

The Idaho Hispanic Foundation reaffirms its dedication to empower the Hispanic community in Idaho through cultural, educational, and developmental initiatives. We lead and collaborate with other community organizations on health initiatives, small business education, workforce development, and personal development opportunities to foster economic growth and prosperity. Additionally, we raise funds to support leadership, education, and workforce readiness programs for other minority and underserved groups in Idaho, operating and dedicated to working together to create positive change.

We are committed to expanding our impact under Mari Ramos's leadership, with a focus on:

Healthcare Access and Education: Strengthening and collaborating on health initiatives for our community's well-being. Advocate for healthcare policies to increase access in underserved areas and in culturally relevant ways.
Leadership Advancement: Providing opportunities for professional growth and skill development through leadership training, mentorship opportunities, and actively encouraging community leadership participation.
Workforce Development: Creating avenues for professional growth and skill enhancement through identifying in-demand skills, connecting to vocational training, providing career counseling, job placement assistance, and collaborating with educational institutions for lifelong learning opportunities.
Entrepreneurial Support: Cultivating a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within our community to build and scale business by offering business workshops, increasing access to funding sources, and creating a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurship.
Fostering Cultural Enrichment: Promote cultural awareness and enrichment through diverse festivals, educational workshops, multilingual support services, heritage conservation efforts, and the promotion of diversity in arts and media.
